Welcome to the HISTORY collection of original hand carved and hand printed linocut prints, inspired by British History.

'Diggin'' - 4 by 3 inches (approx.) on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - open edition - this linoprint is inspired by prehistoric man digging through the dirt with gathered objects like deer antler.
'Land, Ahoy!' - 4.5 by 4.5 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - open edition - this linoprint is a playful illustrated take on Viking invasions.
'What lies beneath' - 5 by 3 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - open edition - this linoprint is an ode to the art of metal detecting and the detectorists who help piece together Britain's past.
'Buried treasure' - 5 by 3 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - open edition - this linoprint is inspired by buried treasure in the British Isles, here there is buried Viking treasure.
All prints are signed, titled and numbered/marked as limited or open edition by the Artist.
Linocut is a type of traditional relief printmaking whereby designs are carved by hand into lino blocks - the block is then inked with professional standard ink, paper applied on top and it is then pressed by hand.
This linocut is an original and is carefully hand printed in Norwich. The copyright of this print is retained by the Artist.
