'Green Man' - Linocut limited edition print on handmade paper

'Green Man' is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut inspired by the Green Man carving in Norwich Cathedral grounds (St. Ethelbert's Gate). It was carved into a type of lino block called Japanese Vinyl that hold fine detail really well and gives it this blocky stone look I think.

This linocut print is an edition of 50, therefore only 50 prints will exist in the world. It is signed, titled and numbered by the Artist.

The print will arrive in an 8 inch by 8 inch white acid-free mount with a 5 inch round aperture. It has been printed on green handmade paper.

Linocut is a type of traditional relief printmaking whereby designs are carved by hand into lino blocks - the block is then inked with professional standard ink, paper applied on top and it is then pressed by hand.

This linocut is an original and is carefully hand printed in Norwich. The copyright of this print is retained by the Artist.
