'Bones of Coral, Eyes of Pearl' - Sea Goddess original linocut print limited edition

'Bones of Coral, Eyes of Pearl' is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut inspired by belle idols from Ancient Greece. These are representations of Nature Goddesses and used to be ceramic with wooden legs and would hang in folks' homes. My original design here is a Sea Goddess. I also have wooden ornaments of these Goddesses listed on my shop.

This linocut print is an edition of 50, therefore only 50 prints will exist in the world. It is signed, titled and numbered by the Artist.

The print is A4 in size (21cm by 29.7cm approx.) and the paper is a lovely off-white Japanese HoSho paper. It has deckled edges and will arrive unframed and unmounted.

Linocut is a type of traditional relief printmaking whereby designs are carved by hand into lino blocks - the block is then inked with professional standard ink, paper applied on top and it is then pressed by hand.

This linocut is an original and is carefully hand printed in Norwich. The copyright of this print is retained by the Artist.
