This is a hand carved and hand printed original linocut print called 'Ophelia'.
 
It was inspired by a beautiful hen I saw when I visited a Christmas tree farm. I wish I could’ve rescued her and wanted to create a print of her.
 
It's printed on Japanese HoSho paper and is signed and title. It’s a multiblock gradient linocut.
 
This print comes mounted in a white mount measuring 8 by 8 inches. The mount opening is 4 by 4 inches.

Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum.
 
As all linocut prints are original, they are all unique and have slight variations.
 
It will be posted in a 'Do Not Bend' envelope.
