This is a hand printed linocut called 'The Malvern Hills'.
 
It was inspired by the view from the small village I grew up in that looked across to the glorious Malvern Hills in Worcestershire.
 
This print was made using the reduction and multiblock print techniques of linocut printmaking.
 
It’s a limited edition print of 30. It is numbered, signed and titled.
 
The print is approximately 9 inches by 6 inches and is mounted in an A4 frame so it is a standard size for framing. This print will be posted mounted. It is printed onto white Somerset paper by hand using a wooden spoon and a small baren.
 
Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum. As all linocut prints are original, they are all unique and have slight variations.
