This is a hand printed original linocut called 'Lundy'.
 
It was inspired by the magical little island of Lundy and the puffins I hope to visit there one day. The puffin is walking in a field of daisies by the sea. This linocut was printed in black ink and the beak/eye details were hand painted on using watercolours.
 
It's been printed on Somerset paper and is a limited edition print of 50. Each print is titled and signed by the artist.
 
The print is approximately 9 inches by 6 inches and is mounted in an A4 frame so it is a standard size for framing. This print will be posted mounted.
 
Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum. As all linocut prints are original, they are all unique and have slight variations.
 
It will be posted in a card Do Not Bend envelope.
