This is a hand printed linocut print called 'Drying times may vary'.
 
It was inspired by the big pigeons who take it in turns to bathe in my bird bath each day- one stands watch while the others prune their feathers and sit with their wings in the air drying.
 
It’s a limited edition print of 30. It is numbered, signed and titled.
 
This print measures approximately 9 inches by 6 inches and comes in an A4 white mount so it's ready to frame.
 
It's been printed on Japanese HoSho paper using a wooden spoon and small baren.
 
Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum. As all linocut prints are original, they are all unique and have slight variations.
