'Land Ahoy' is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut inspired by Viking voyages to empty shores.

Postage format: Choose between no mount (ripped edges) or a 6 inch off-white acid-free mount with a 4 inch oval aperture

Prints vary little across the edition due to the nature of them being hand printed. Professional standard inks used in the multiblock method of creating linocuts. Please do not display in direct sunlight. Linocut block displayed in the photographs not included.

Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum and ink is rolled on the surface to create the print. Video examples of the printing process can be found on my social media.

This linocut was designed and printed by me in my studio in Norwich, Norfolk, England.
