Welcome to the FOLKLORE collection of original hand carved and hand printed linocut prints.

'She is the Mountain' - 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches on pink handmade paper - this linoprint is inspired by tales of giants in Scandinavia and women connected to nature as they carry it with them.

'Meteor' - 6 inches by 6 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - this linoprint is inspired by imaginary tree folk villagers witnessing an acorn meteor blazing across the sky.

'Flower Fields' - 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - this linoprint is inspired by stags in Medieval England roaming woodlands and meadows.

'The Crow' - 6 inches by 6 inches on lime green Himalayan Lokta paper - this linoprint is inspired by fantasy birds carrying goodies across the lands in their pouches for their companions.

'Paper Planes' - 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - this linoprint is inspired by my love of Studio Ghibli and tiny worlds.

'Labyrinth' - 4.5 nches by 4.5 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - this linoprint is inspired by a clockwork scene of stargazing on the Moors, a cosy cabin, animals sleeping and a girl staring across the landscape in the wind.

'Little Henge' - 5 inches by 7 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - this linoprint is inspired by the standing stones of the UK, this one is particular depicts Carreg Coetan Arthur in Wales.

'Caledonian' - 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches on white Somerset paper - this linoprint is inspired by the untamed stags that represent the wild Scottish Highlands.

'Awoken' - 5 inches by 4 inches on off-white Japanese HoSho paper - this linoprint is inspired by the sudden flight of birds under a night sky, bursting out from the trees in the woodland.

All prints are signed, titled and numbered/marked as open edition by the Artist.

Linocut is a type of traditional relief printmaking whereby designs are carved by hand into lino blocks - the block is then inked with professional standard ink, paper applied on top and it is then pressed by hand.

This linocut is an original and is carefully hand printed in Norwich. The copyright of this print is retained by the Artist.
