'Vancouver Island' is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut inspired by my love of Vancouver Island in Canada. I've been fortunate enough to spend lots of time growing up exploring this extraordinary landscape so this print incorporates lots of my favourite things about the Island; the rugged coastline, a sea otter, Orca and ferns.

Prints vary a little across the edition due to the nature of them being hand printed. Professional standard inks were used to create this linocut. Please do not display in direct sunlight. Linocut block displayed in the photographs not included.
Linocut prints come with a certificate of authenticity on the rear of the mount. Linocut prints are signed, titled and editioned (where relevant).
Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum and ink is rolled on the surface to create the print. Video examples of the printing process can be found on my social media (@stellaboxdesigns).
