This is a hand-printed original linocut print called 'Cooling off'.

I wanted to fully embrace the linocut style with this print and use the background lines to form a giant water droplet around the frog coming out of the tap so he's cooling off. This print is inspired by a rusty tap in my parent's allotment and my love of garden wildlife.

It's been printed on Japanese HoSho paper and is a limited edition print. There are 50 prints only in this edition. Each print will be signed, numbered and titled.

Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum. As all linocut prints are original, they are all unique and have slight variations.

The print is approximately 9 inches by 6 inches and is mounted in an A4 frame so it is a standard size for framing. This print will be posted mounted.

It will be posted in a card Do Not Bend envelope.
