'Dad and Me' is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut inspired by memories of my Dad pulling me round our back garden in a cardboard box and a skipping rope when I was a baby. His love of coloured socks and my makeshift hat to protect my young head are some of my favourite parts about this print. The print was inspired by a photograph I discovered of this scene.

Prints vary little across the edition due to the nature of them being hand printed. Professional standard inks used in this method of creating linocuts using the multiblock method. Please do not display in direct sunlight. Linocut block displayed in the photographs not included.
 
Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum and ink is rolled on the surface to create the print. Video examples of the printing process can be found on my social media.
