'Beside the stream' is an original hand carved and hand printed linocut. It's inspired by William Wordsworth's Poem 'I Wandered Lonely As A Cloud' - and features the willow I love so much in Norwich next to my Studio, alongside a heron and a small frog on the bank.

Prints vary little across the edition due to the nature of them being hand printed. Professional standard inks used in this method of creating linocuts. Please do not display in direct sunlight. Linocut block displayed in the photographs not included.
 
Linocut is a form of relief printmaking whereby designs are carved into a block of linoleum and ink is rolled on the surface to create the print. Video examples of the printing process can be found on my social media.
